Detachable-Capsule Condenser Microphone

The Global Pre is a transformerless FET condenser preamp circuit host for bayonet-style interchangeable capsules supplied by Neumann/Gefell (the M7, M8, M9), Blue’s “B” series aka the Bottle Caps, and Violet’s own VIN series.

The Global Pre does not include any capsules; buyers can pick from any of the available “VIN” models, or use 3rd-party capsules.

It ships with a shockmount (Violet p/n GSM) in a padded wooden box.

Like all Violet’s products, it is handmade in Latvia (or possibly Estonia) and carries a 5-year warranty.
